A dedicated proponent of tourism in the international field, a 30 years veteran of Mexico’s travel and tourism industry, has held numerous prestigious positions. Has also served as founder and President of the Hotel Sales Manager Association (HSMAI) chapter Acapulco, Vice-President of the Acapulco Chamber of Commerce, Federal Delegate of the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico for the State of Guerrero and Chief of Staff and Administration for the Municipality of Acapulco

Also acting as member of the Advisory Council of the American University of Acapulco and have been professor in the career of Tourism Administration.

Active participant in the major world travel trade shows for the last ten years, such us ITB, BIT, FITUR, WTM, ASAE, PATA, ITME, TIANGUIS.

In 1995 received the prestigious award "LATINAMERICA PERSON OF THE YEAR " given by the important magazine Travel Agent of New York, USA for the first time in 65 years to any professional of tourism outside USA.
